What is the Lukuma menstrual cup made of?

Our menstrual cups are made from 100% medical grade silicone, with no additives or chemicals. They do not contain bleaches, perfumes or other irritating or allergenic substances. They carry CE certification, which means that they have been tested and meet European standards for safety, health and environmental protection.

How many hours can I wear the menstrual cup?

Every flow is different! You can wear it for as long as your flow allows. The maximum time of use – 12 hours.

How do I clean it?
Wash the menstrual cup with mild soap and warm water after each use. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry thoroughly before storing. Do not use chemicals, perfumes, or bleaches.
What cup size should I order?

Small: For women who have not given birth vaginally.
Large: For women who have given birth vaginally.

Do I have to wear pads with the Lukuma menstrual cup?

Some people like to wear a cloth pad or period underwear as extra protection while they learn to use the menstrual cup. But when the cup is fitted correctly, you won't have any leaks, so you can wear it completely on its own.

How does the period cup stay in place?

The menstrual cup fits comfortably inside your vagina and stays in place by forming a seal between the outside of the cup and the vaginal walls. If fitted correctly, you won't feel it.

How do I save it?

Store the menstrual cup in a cotton bag. Keep it away from sunlight and excessive heat.

Can I use a menstrual cup if I have never used a tampon?

Yes, you can use the menstrual cup even if you have never put anything in your vagina or used tampons. We encourage you to take your time, take your time and listen to your body.

Large: 40ml
